Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 06 October 2026
These terms govern the use of Sahasra LIS GenX (the "System"), the laboratory information system operated by Centromed Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("Centromed", "we") and provided by ATHEN TECH India Pvt Ltd. By signing in you agree to these terms.
1. Who may use the System
The System is for authorised staff, doctors and partners of Centromed only. Accounts are personal: you must not share your user name or password, or let anyone else use your session. You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.
2. Acceptable use
- Access only the patient and business information you need for your work.
- Enter results, reports and billing information accurately and promptly; do not alter records without proper authority.
- Do not copy, export, photograph or disclose patient information except as your role and the law permit.
- Do not attempt to bypass security controls, test for vulnerabilities, or access other users' accounts.
- Sign out when you leave a shared computer.
3. Security controls
To protect patient data the System may lock an account after repeated wrong passwords, allow one active session per user (signing in elsewhere ends the previous session), require periodic password changes, restrict sign-in to approved networks, and record sign-in, sign-out and key actions in an audit trail.
4. Confidentiality of medical information
Patient and test information is confidential medical information. You must handle it in line with Centromed's policies, professional obligations and applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the confidentiality duties that apply to clinical laboratories.
5. Clinical responsibility
The System supports, but does not replace, professional judgement. Dashboards, alerts and summaries are aids; authorised results and signed reports remain the clinical record. Verify critical information before acting on it.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the System available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network problems or third-party services may cause interruptions. Follow Centromed's downtime procedures when the System is unavailable.
7. Intellectual property
The System software, design and documentation belong to ATHEN TECH India Pvt Ltd and are licensed to Centromed. Patient and business data entered into the System belong to Centromed.
8. Suspension and termination
Centromed may suspend or withdraw access at any time, including for misuse or when your role no longer requires it.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
